F1 Boston Launches 2012 Endurance Race Series
5-Round, 90-Minute, Joint Track Format
Culminates with 3 hour-finale at F1 Outdoors
Braintree, MA (March 1, 2012) – Spring is just around the corner signaling it’s time to sign up for F1 Boston’s highly anticipated annual Endurance Race Series. The series features team racing in a 5-round, 90-minute format on F1 Boston’s signature joint track configuration. The top 3 teams from each round qualify for a 3-hour championship round at F1 Boston’s sister track, the world-class F1 Outdoors in Bridgewater, Mass.
Each team consists of two or three drivers, with a minimum of 5 driver changes. Teams complete a timed qualifying session with fast laps determining the starting order for the round. The team completing the most number of laps during in the 90-minute format will be declared the winner.  The series will be held in F1 Boston’s brand new fleet of Rimo Karts. Entry fees are $320 per team, per round; teams are permitted to enter as many or as few races as they wish. Rounds are scheduled on Monday nights, once a month, April – August, with the Championship round held in September.

Round One:                        Monday, April 16th, 6:30 pm
Round Two:                        Monday, May 21st, 6:30 pm
Round Three:                     Monday, June 18th, 6:30 pm
Round Four:                       Monday, July 23rd, 6:30 pm
Round Five:                        Monday, August 20th, 6:30 pm
