Registration Open for F1 Boston’s
Winter 90-Minute Junior Endurance Race & 2-Day Novice Junior Academy
Braintree, Ma. (January 25, 2012) – Looking for something to do over winter break? Look no more. F1 Boston has opened registration for a 90-minute Junior Endurance Race and its’ 2-day Winter Novice Junior Academy.
The 90-minute Jr. Endurance race – slated for Friday, Feb 24th, 8:30am – 12pm – will be held on the F1 Boston City Course (track 1) for 1AA, 1A and 1B drivers. Each team will consist of 3 drivers. The event
includes 15-minute Qualifying session with 3 driver changes, with each team’s fastest lap determining starting order. The 90-minute Main Event will have a minimum of 5 driver changes with racers driving 15 minutes max time per shift. The cost is $80.00 per driver.The Junior Academy, Feb. 21 – 22, provides on-track and in-class instruction, as well as plenty of race action to help aspiring racers hone their driving skills. Available ages 7-17, the kids are divided up into small groups according to age and skill level. F1 Boston supplies all the gear and equipment necessary: karts, full racing suits and helmets. Classes start at 9:00 a.m. each day and conclude at 1:30 p.m.; lunch is provided. The cost is $320.00. Graduates of the Junior Academies are eligible to join F1 Boston Junior Racing leagues.
