FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE F1 Boston Adult Fall Leagues: Round 3 Race Report Braintree, MA (October 21, 2010) – The third round of F1 Boston 2010 Adult Fall League is in the books, and at the half waypoint of the season the battles across all divisions are heating up. Here are some highlights from the action: Sprint League In the Sprint division, Ryan Duke had a solid round of 30 for a 3 round total of 103 to keep him in the top spot – a position he’s held after each round. John Chetwynd earned 22 points and holds the second spot with 89 points. Ray Kobs booked a round-best 33 points to leap-frog into the third spot just one point out of a second place tie. Jose Pimental (22, 81) and Steve Maka (28, 76) round out the Fast Five. Rookie League A shake-up at the top of the leader board took place in the Rookie League. Viken Mardirossian delivered a dominant performance, earning 38 points – 12 more than the nearest competitor. The big round propelled him from third to first place in the league standings, with a total of 95 points. With a round of 25 points the leader after round two, Robert Bain, is just two points off the pace with 93. Craig Timoney earned 26 points to stay in the hunt at third place with 90 points. Joe Monk (22, 69) and Michael Medici (17, 68), separated by just one point in duel for fourth. The Adult Fall League offers Rookie and Sprint divisions - a league for any skill level. All are run at F1 Boston's state of the art, 106,000 square foot facility that features two indoor European-style kart tracks. The Monday night Rookie League offers 6 rounds of competition – each round features a practice session and three 35-lap races – points are earned to determine a league champion – points are used from five of the six rounds. The Sprint League alternates Monday night race dates with the Rookie League, and also features 6 rounds with a one round drop. It has four 30-lap contests, with practice before the races.
