F1 Boston Adult Winter leagues Start in January
Braintree, Mass (December 28, 2010) - Just in time to drive away ‘Cabin Fever’, the Adult Winter League season is about to begin at F1 Boston. Rookie, Sprint and Pro Leagues – a class for every skill level – are forming now. All events are run at F1 Boston’s state of the art, 106,000 square foot facility that features two indoor European-style kart tracks.
The Adult Pro-League, which begins with qualifiers on January 14th, features a six round shoot-out with three races per round. The top eight racers from each class advance to the Final Championship Event; the format includes one drop, as the scoring is based on five of the six rounds. Here’s the Pro League roster:

The Monday night Rookie League, which starts January 24th, has 6 rounds of competition – each featuring a practice session and three races. Points are earned towards a season ending Final Championship Race, with the top 6 drivers in each weight class advancing to the Finals. The format includes one race drop; five of the six rounds count towards determining who makes it to the Championships. The Sprint League starts on January 31st alternating Monday night dates with the Rookie League, and operates under the same rules and format.
