Looking for a special event for you and co-workers? Check out the the 2nd Annual Boston PAL Grand Prix. It’s a road race on the streets around Boston City Hall Plaza, where teams of six drivers go head-to-head in a four hour endurance race, all to raise money for the Boston Police Athletic League. Last year had a dozen teams screaming around hairpin turns, through a couple clever chicanes and down some pretty darn fast straight-aways.

To keep the playing field level, each team is issued one of F1 Boston’s Rimo 9hp karts for race day – but hey, you’re doing 40 mph on a tight course – it’s a blast. Teams are made up from companies around the Boston area who have a bunch of fun and helped out a great cause.

Last year we had a cool Police Motorcycle Parade around the course during opening ceremonies. All told, it raised about $150,000 for the PAL programs. For those not familiar, the Boston Police Athletic League is a non-profit organization dedicated to the positive development of the youth of Boston.

A very good cause. We’re doing it again this year on October 9th –  register at::

If you were there last year, let me know you thought. If not, don’t miss it this time.

See you at the track. RJV
